On Sunday Evening the men reflected on Galatians chapter 4 and the powerful truth that on their faith in Jesus makes them complete in God’s eyes. Through Christ, we are no longer striving to earn our place,we are fully accepted, known, and loved as His children.
They also explored the rich analogy Paul uses, drawing from Abraham’s story and God’s promises to him. Paul contrasts the two covenants through the lives of Sarah and Hagar, illustrating the difference between living under the law and living in the freedom of God’s promise. Just as Isaac was the child of promise, we too are children of promise born not through human effort, but through God’s grace.
This chapter reminds them that our identity is not rooted in striving or performance, but in the faithfulness of God. We are invited to live in freedom, fully embraced as sons and daughters, walking confidently in the promises He has fulfilled through Christ.
