Matt and Emily live in Bangkok, Thailand, with their four children—Samuel, Calvin, Owen, and Lucy. Matt earned both his MDiv and ThM from Southern Seminary. In August 2022, they planted Bangkok City Baptist Church in the heart of the city, where Matt now serves as Lead Pastor.
