Following Jesus — Mark 10:13–31

1 min read

Our youth explored two important lessons from the life and teachings of Jesus.

First, we learned how Jesus welcomed and blessed the little children, reminding us that we should come to Him with childlike faith, humility, and trust.

Next, we looked at the rich man who struggled to surrender his possessions to follow Jesus. This challenged us to consider what may be keeping us from putting God first in our lives.

Through discussion and reflection, the youth were encouraged to examine their hearts, trust God fully, and understand that following Jesus means making Him our greatest priority.

Key takeaway: Jesus welcomes us, loves us, and calls us to follow Him wholeheartedly. Nothing should take His place in our lives.
