Faith, Promise, and Our Identity in Christ
On Sunday Evening the men reflected on Galatians chapter 4 and the powerful truth that on their faith in Jesus makes them complete in God’s eyes. Through Christ, we are no longer striving to earn our place,we are fully accepted, known, and loved as His children. They also explored the rich analogy Paul uses, drawing from Abraham’s story and God’s promises to him. Paul contrasts the two covenants through the lives of Sarah and Hagar, illustrating the difference between livin

Cast What You Can’t Carry
Life doesn’t pause when stress, anxiety, or pressure builds and for many students, it can feel overwhelming to carry everything on their own. This week, our High School group explored what it means to draw closer to God in the middle of life’s challenges. In our series Closer , we are learning that prayer is not just a last resort—it’s our first response. God invites us to bring every worry, question, and burden to Him because He truly cares for us. Key Scripture: “Cast all y

Trouble at Shechem
Week Seven: This week, we continued our journey through Genesis, reflecting on the life of Jacob, now renamed Israel. In our previous lesson, we saw a turning point in his life: after years of struggle, deception, and growth, Jacob came to a place of repentance and reconciliation, particularly with his brother Esau. After spending nearly twenty years in Haran, Jacob had learned significant life lessons. He eventually settled in Succoth, building a home and establishing himsel

From law to faith: Galatians 3
Sunday Fellowship Our discussion focused on , where we explored the clear contrast between living under the law and living by faith. We reflected on how the law reveals our need for a Savior, yet cannot bring salvation on its own. Together, we looked at how the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ perfectly fulfilled the requirements of the law. Through Him, we are no longer bound by the law but are invited into a relationship with God through faith. This opened up a meani

The Lord is Risen
Doubt is everywhere, found in classrooms, comment sections, and even in quiet, late-night thoughts. When it comes to the resurrection of Jesus, questions are natural. That’s why our new student series, Cross Check , invites young people to explore the heart of the Christian faith with clarity, confidence, and courage. Together we examined the central claim of Christianity: that Jesus truly died and was truly raised to life. Through Scripture, especially John 20:1–23 and 1 Cor

Justified by Faith, Not by Works
We continued our discussion on the theme of justification by faith rather than by the works of the law. As Paul writes in Galatians 2:16, “a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ.” He reaffirmed his apostleship and his divine calling to minister to the Gentiles, emphasizing that no one can be justified by observing the Mosaic Law, since no one has ever been able to fully keep it (Galatians 3:10–11). Instead, salvation comes through fai

Week Six: Exile and Reconciliation

Jacob’s response was hesitant, conditional… but God’s faithfulness was not. This week, we see a turning point. God begins to work deeply in the heart of Jacob the deceiver. The one who once manipulated others now finds himself on the receiving end. Through difficult relationships, unmet expectations, and hard lessons, Jacob starts to

✨ Galatians 2: A Gospel Reminder ✨
In Galatians chapter 2, Paul confronts a distorted view of the gospel—one that was based on works and identity rather than grace. He reminds the church that we are not made right with God by what we do, but by what Christ has already done. The true gospel is not earned. It is a free gift of grace , given to all who believe and walk in faith. It’s easy to drift into thinking we are more worthy because of our past, or less worthy because of our performance—but the gospel calls
